No trip to the ocean is complete without a stroll down the boardwalk, and Virginia Beach Boardwalk doesn’t disappoint.
At 28-feet wide and 3 miles long, it stretches from 2nd to 40th Street, and has a separate path for biking and rollerblading. Live entertainment is offered nightly during the busy season at any of four oceanfront stages. Have dinner or drinks at any of a number of restaurants, and watch the waves crash against the sand. Don’t miss stopping by to visit King Neptune – not that you could overlook the 24-foot sculpture tall mythological god.
